![]() Like many more ordinary middle-aged couple facing a midlife crisis, they recommitted, even renewing their marital vows. (It’s easier to control your spies when they can’t trust each other.) Then, a crisis-Philip found out that Elizabeth had been raped during her spy training, and then killed her rapist, and by doing so, lost his own chance to defect-changed them, nearly chemically, inspiring a radical leap of faith. When we first met the Jenningses, they were posing as a family, but were also, after decades, married strangers, raising two children together, just as their Russian handlers had intended. “The Americans” has always been a show about intimacy, not simply as a human need but as a dangerous vulnerability, the crack that lets the light in. Thanksgiving together conversations during Stan’s divorce watching one another’s children grow up. Six seasons of sharing a beer at the end of the day, that’s how. Instead, ten minutes later, the Jennings were coolly driving away to freedom, as Stan stood by silently, as if paralyzed, watching them go. It was the last moment that Stan would be in control, during a clash of perspectives that should have, by all narrative logic, led straight to prison or, if not, to a shootout, a car chase, or something worse. Stan holds one finger up and says, calmly, “That’s a great question.” “Hi, Paige!” “What . . . what are you doing here?” sputters Philip to Stan, as if they’d all conveniently bumped into one another running errands. ![]() agent Stan Beeman says, cheerfully, to his neighbors, Philip and Elizabeth and their daughter Paige, as they enter a parking garage, preparing to flee the country. “We’ll get used to it,” Elizabeth says, although she speaks to her husband in Russian.Ī fair amount happened before that Russian denouement, although the crucial sequence began twenty-two minutes in, with a hilariously arch greeting between old friends. ![]() “It feels strange,” Philip says, gazing out at the glittering vistas of the country he hasn’t seen for more than twenty years. It was about a life spent raising kids and working long hours, entering a new stage: retirement and an empty nest. agent whose life was hollowed out for good, “The Americans” was, in its final moments, a portrait of a successful marriage. But if you squinted and ignored the pile of corpses, and the F.B.I. Certain mysteries would never be solved: for one thing, we’ll never find out if Renee was a Russian spy. In the end, the bad guys (the Jenningses, Russian spies who were somehow also the show’s protagonists) got away with their crimes. Rather than provide the viewer with bright-red catharsis, “The Americans” went out, after six seasons, in gorgeous shades of asphalt gray and snow white-a dry-eyed tearjerker to the last, leaving behind a chord of moral unease. Were you craving a bit more bloodshed from the finale of FX’s “The Americans”? Some tooth-pulling ultraviolence, or maybe another corpse crunched into a briefcase, on the long road to Moscow? If so, you were clearly watching the wrong show.

![]() May have to take a look and see what I have. Chain of Nebula is really making getting thru sections of Map 18 tough- AFAIK, aside from Princess Sakura and one or two 4 star Forest cards there aren't many cards with that skill (that I'm aware of anyway). It probably makes a difference that I'm only at clan level 5 for the moment and that I haven't any cards from 'recharging' crystals, spending set number of crystals in a specific time frame or from certain time limited store events ('pay to win' be damned- I want to see how far I can get just using in game crystal & cash/card rewards ). The deck I used looked like this: All cards level 20 except as noted Princess Sakura Lycra Stars Ruler Eclipse Beast Cloris Ghost Dagger Eagle Knight Lancelot level 10 lance level 10 Diviner level 10 Runes were Dragon Howling, Storm, Hawkeye and Arctic Freeze. Bad news is trying to finish the rest of the Map 18 (still have Map 16-2-3, 11-3 & 12-3 as well as Map 17-2-3, 3-3 & 5-3 to do). If it's anything else, it's up to you to either continue and try your luck or just quit the match and try again. Thanks for this- the good news is that- with a bit of tinkering- this got me past those damn Venom Kings. To 1-Star Map 18, use the deck: 2x Princess Sakura Lord of Infinity Lycra Ghost-Dagger Eclipse Beast Nocturne Moon Witch Lancelot Lance (or replace it with 2nd Lancelot) Runes: Dragon Howling, Storm, Hawkeye, Soul Shield Just make sure that on your first draw, it has to be Princess Sakura first. If your hand is full, it will be returned to the deck. ![]() Chain of Nebula: Put the card with the longest waiting time in the deck into battlefield.(Cannot put the card in the waiting zone onto battlefield.) Resurrection 7: When the card dies, there is a 65% chance it is returned to your hand. ![]() Lord of Infinity Quick Strike: Reanimation: Upon entering the battlefield, cast Reanimation (Summon a card that doesn't have reanimation from your cemetery straight into the battlefield). Clean Sweep: When the defending card takes any damage, the same amount of damage will also be dealt to both of its adjacent cards. Nocturne Awakening Silence: When there is at least 1 Kingdom card on the battlefield, activate Skill Silence.(Silence will negate all skills of the card that you are facing for one round but not take effect on Demon) Kaiser Smash 9: Absorb 55% of base ATK from adjacent cards when attacking. Not real familiar with Nocturne and LoI's skills but I might have cards that have similiar skills- time to check and see. ![]() Roaring rage blood could also be useful to lessen the blows of super puncture, as it's roar and shelter of earth work on immunity, and the monthly card fly cutter has reflection armor if you logged in enough to get it.Thanks for the suggestions although I have more of the cards listed by Flame Haze Sns than what you recommend- only missing the second Princess Sakura, Nocturne and Lord of Infinity from Flame Haze SnS's list while from yours I only have Monkey King, 1 Persephone and EB. 18-6-1 All level 20 except crystal dragon 2 persephone, water armor Crystal dragon, water armor Starry queen, water armor, reflection armor(works on immunity) Monster golden, reflection armor, holy flame Doomsday judge, 200% physical rebound Nocturne Monkey king 2 eclipse beasts Runes Transparency Fire forge Tsunami Dragon howling They bounced right off starry queen and monster golden back into their decks, I never even saw KOD. ![]() To switch from a monthly to a yearly Next Pro subscription, you will need to: How do I change my Next Pro subscription from monthly to yearly payments? I had no issues with cutouts at all regardless of which device I attached the M15 to. ![]() I had run into some driver issues with the M12 and wondered if they would rear their head as well with the two designs sharing the same SOC but thankfully found that whatever issue had plagued WASAPI in Foobar had been cured. One quirk that must be highlighted is that a headphone or pair of earphones must be connected to the Questyle M15 before it is detected by the source device. ![]() The HEDD and HiFiMAN HE6 tax it heavily, but both can be used with the balanced output in a pinch although neither has a lot of extra headroom. The Questyle M15 is definitely not easy on your battery it drains less than the Xduoo Link 2 Balanced Dongle DAC and is roughly equal with the Cayin RU6 which offers some of the best performance I’ve heard to date from anything in the category. I found that the M15 cost me roughly an hour of battery life on my Samsung S21 or iPhone 13 when listening at normal volume levels for a period of 4 hours. The M15 adds a Torex power management system to allow the M15 to deliver maximum output power without draining the phone’s battery excessively. While most Dongle DAC manufacturers use the built-in amplifier for simplicity, the current mode amplifier Questyle designed has lower distortion and noise and offers greater bandwidth than similar voltage-mode amplifiers. Much like its less expensive sibling, the heart of the M15 is the ESS9281AC SOC, and like its little brother - the M15 uses current mode amplification and bypasses the built-in amplifier in favor of a current mode amplifier designed by Questyle. On the right hand side, we have a gain indicator with green for low and red for high on the left hand side we have the data indicator with green for 44.1/48kHz PCM, red for high sample rate PCM (88kHz to 384kHz) and DSD64/256, and magenta for MQA files. ![]() The LED indicators of the M12 are retained with one on either side of the USB port.
